Winsor Harmon

Winsor Harmon aka “Thorne Forrester”
from ‘Bold and the Beautiful’

(Celebrity Actor, Triathlon Athlete, Philanthropist)

Winsor Harmon has been starring as the strong-willed “Thorne Forrester” on ‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ since 1996 (19 years) for 1536 episodes. He received a Soap Opera Digest Award nomination in 2005 for ‘Outstanding Supporting Actor’.

Before assuming the ‘Bold and the Beautiful’ role of “Thorne”, Harmon portrayed “Del Henry” on the long-time daytime drama, ‘All My Children’ from 1994-1995, making Winsor a soap opera star for 21 years, 1546 episodes.

Prior to ‘All My Children’, Harmon landed an international modeling contract allowing him to travel extensively throughout Europe, and had his fair share of romance novel covers he has graced the covers of.

Harmon also filmed in numerous commercials, including an infamous role as ‘The Marlboro Man’.

Harmon has guest starred on numerous hit television shows such as ‘Baywatch Nights’ and ‘Acapulco H.E.A.T.’ Most recently, he has starred in the independent film, ‘Cathedral Canyon’.

Born and raised in Crowley, Louisiana, Harmon was transplanted to Rockwall, Texas as a teenager. As one of the country’s top-rated high school running backs, Harmon was recruited by top colleges across the country and decided to attend Texas A&M (Agricultural and Mechanical University) on a football scholarship.

“Philanthropist” is a word that can also be attributed to Harmon. After Hurricane Katrina in 2008, Harmon, whose hometown was devastated, worked tirelessly with the Red Cross in helping those who had lost their homes due to the treacherous storm, and continues his efforts to help Katrina victims to this day.

Harmon is an avid athlete, enjoys all sports including cycling, motorcycles and triathlons, and is a die-hard college and professional football fan. He celebrates his birthday on November 22, stands 6′-0″ and has blonde hair and brown eyes.
