Whether you are attending the convention or unable to, these promotional opportunities at the convention are great ways to promote and advertise yourself before, during, and long after the convention.
COVER MODEL BINGO CARD SPOT ~ click for details

Put your book cover on every 8-1/2″ x 11″ RNC Cover Model Bingo Card and get it seen by RNConvention attendees and Book Fair guests, as your book title and author name are announced by Cover Models every time your Cover Spot is drawn. There are 20 chances for players to win per card by getting 5 covers in a row in various directions. Each card has a completely different arrangement of the 25 cover spots.

1.) Click to see a past Cover Model Bingo Card.
2.) If you would like multiple cover spots, each cover needs to be entered separately. However, you don’t need to checkout until you have filled your cart with all the promo items you want.
3.) Email your 300dpi resolution (as large as you have) JPG image to support@romancenovelconvention.com and identify what you are sending your image for.
4.) If you would then like one of the Bingo Cards for yourself, you can have one after Cover Model Bingo is over, Saturday late-afternoon.

Host your own 1-hour, exclusive Social (party/gathering) to introduce yourself, your group, your publishing house, your company, etc., to the convention attendees – ONLY 3 2 SOCIALS AVAILABLE, ONE EACH DAY.

1.) You can select the day (Wednesday, Thursday or Friday) you want your Social to be on.
2.) If you would like food and/or beverage(s) at your Social, all food and beverages MUST be supplied by the hotel’s catering department ONLY (you cannot bring in any food of your own), and can only be ordered through RNC in advance. You would be responsible for the cost of all your food and/or beverage at the time of ordering, including their 24% service fee and 8.1% state tax. Below is their à la carte menu and prices.

However, they would only be advertised on the RNConvention website, and via any promotions you do yourself for it, and only up until May 31, 2016. The RNConvention 2016 Program Booklet will go to every registered convention attendee. Ad spaces are limited, so get your ad purchased before they fill up.

1.) Ads will either be grouped together, or spread around the program on various pages.
2.) All RNC2016 Program Booklet Ads will also be posted on the RNConvention website to help promote you. You can see them here: past RNC Program Ads for size reference.

BOOK FAIR SIGNING SEAT/TABLE ~ click for details

EVERY author (RNConvention Attendees or not) who wants to sit/sign/sell their book(s) (print or eBook) at the RNC Book Fair will get (1) FREE, 36″ wide x 32″ deep Spot/Seat at a Book Fair table (not an entire table for free), and ONLY IF they fill out the FREE Book Fair Spot/Seat form to claim one.

The RNC Book Fair is Saturday, June 4, 2016 from 9am-2pm (5 hrs) for all registered RNConvention attendees, as well open to the general public, for FREE. See the Book Fair page for more details.

1.) These are spots/seats at tables for authors to sit at, display, promote, sign and sell their printed and/or eBooks.
2.) Each table spot is 36" wide x 32" deep.
3.) You can reserve more than one space if desired (side-by-side).
4.) If you want a friend, spouse, colleague, etc. to sit with you, you must purchase an additional spot/seat.
5.) You must have at least 1 titled book available for purchase at the time of the RNConvention (print or eBook).
6.) There is no minimum number of books per title required to bring; suggestion would be 3 to 5+ per title.
7.) All eBook-only authors need to display a printout of each eBook cover.
8.) Reserving your own “Separate” Table replaces your FREE Book Fair Spot/Seat.
9.) You need to supply your own books. You can either bring your books with you to the convention, ship them to RNC yourself, or have them shipped by your printer or publisher to the address below.

TIPS / ADVICE:
– If you are an author who only has eBooks (no soft or hard cover books), you can print postcard-size prints of your eBook covers and put stickers on the back of them (or stamp or hand-write) a buy/purchase code for readers, so you can sell your eBooks at the Book Fair. Then you can get the reader’s email address to either email them a PDF copy of your eBook right then (which is best), or if you can’t on your mobile device, email it once you get to your computer.

– If you have multiple books, especially in a series, this is a good way to give away an eBook copy of your book for FREE of the first book in your series, to hook them on it for them to want to buy the next book in the series.

– You could give away a FREE eBook with the purchase of any print book (basically buy one get one FREE), since eBooks don’t cost you money to have made/sent to you like print copies do. The objective is to get new readers, more than to sell one book to a reader. Getting them to read “your” book is what you want, so hopefully they will like it to then want to read (buy) more of your books.

DEADLINE: RNC must receive your Book Fair Table Spot/Seat reservation no later than May 31, 2016. Must receive your books (if you mail them to RNC) by June 3, 2016. You also need to notify RNC with what you sent and when it is expected to arrive, so that it can be confirmed that it was received.

All registered attendees to RNC2016 are allowed one Swag/Registration Bag Insert for FREE. If you are not a registered attendee, you can still have your advertisement and promotional swag material(s) inside every RNC Bag for all attendees to receive, as every attendee gets an RNC Swag Bag.

1.) Swag to be no larger than 8-1/2" x 11".
2.) You can have multiple inserts, whether under one or more Pen or Business Names.
3.) You can have multiple inserts inside well-enclosed bags/packets, to count as (1) one insert.
4.) You MUST note in or on your package being shipped, what EXACTLY your items being shipped are for (not “For the Romance Novel Convention”). Is it Table Swag, RNC Swag Bag Inserts, Raffle Basket Donations, Bingo Prizes, Other Game Prizes, your Book Fair Table books and/or decorations, etc.?

DEADLINE: RNC must receive your RNC Swag Bag Inserts no later than May 28, 2016. You can either have your printer ship your swag directly to RNC to save yourself two shipping costs, or ship your swag yourself to the RNC address below. $10: Swag Bag Insert

All registered attendees to RNC2016 are allowed one Swag Table Spot for FREE. If you are not a registered attendee, you can still have your advertisement and promotional swag materials displayed for all to see and take, including all those who attend the Book Fair. Place as much of your swag as you can fit in your reserved space and RNC will keep it filled.

1.) Price includes all days of the convention (Wed-Sat 8am-11pm) in an 8" wide x 8" deep table space.
2.) If you are unable to attend the convention, RNC will keep your space filled with your swag that you supply.
3.) You can either a.) bring your Swag Table Swag with you to the convention, b.) have your printer ship your swag directly to RNC to save yourself two shipping costs (address below), or c.) ship your swag yourself to RNC (address below). Any remaining Swag Table Swag can be picked up when you leave the RNConvention. If you are not attending the convention, or if you are and do not want to take your remaining Swag with you, RNC can ship them back to you at your cost, which you would have to notify RNC of this.

A table for vendors to display & sell their products at the Book Fair from 9am-2pm (5 hours), which is open/FREE to all convention attendees, as well as the general public.

DEADLINE: RNC must receive your paid Vendor Table reservation no later than May 28, 2016 to get your company listed in the Convention Program Booklet. Vendor Table reservations are still accepted after this date without being listed in the Convention Program Booklet, with a paid reservation no later than June 2, 2016.
