Mike O'Hearn

Mike O’Hearn
7x Fitness Male Model of the Year, 4x Mr. Natural Universe, Mr. California, Mr. USA, Mr. American, Mr. International, 4x Power-Lifting Champion, inductee to the Bodybuilding Hall of Fame, and Mr. Casanova Judge
Romance readers and authors around the world recognize this 6′-3″, 250lb Adonis, as the incredibly handsome, chiseled from stone cover model, posing for around 160 Topaz romance novel covers between 1995 and 1998.
The fitness world knows this mass of muscles for gracing over 470 magazine covers internationally, for being titled 4-time Mr. Natural Universe, Mr. California, Mr. USA, Mr. American, Mr. International, as well as 4-time Power Lifting Champion, 2-time Iron Warrior; Decathlon of Strength Strongman Champion, 2-Time California Judo and Taekwondo Champion, and 3-time All-State Defensive Tackle and All American Football Player.
As if all that wasn’t enough, adding to Mike O’Hearn’s superhero level accomplishments, after earning the profound title of 7-time Fitness Male Model of the Year, and putting that title into retirement in 2011, the health and fitness industry proudly honored Mike O’Hearn by inducting him into the Bodybuilding Hall of Fame.
Expanding his multitude of talents to world of television, to just list a few, Mike has appeared on shows such as It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia, Knight Rider, Days of Our Lives and as Titan on NBC’s smash-hit television series American Gladiator as a regular for 3 years, while being their Team Captain and their only undefeated Gladiator.
Continuing on by adding film credits to his resume, some of Mike’s movie work include the lead role in Barbarian (2003), where he plays Kane, the one warrior who will become legend; the last great warrior king. As well as a lead role in the medieval world movie, Keeper of Time (2004), as Bullrock, the muscular swordsman protector.
With Mike’s father being a former football player and bodybuilder, and his mother an artist who says to always live your dreams, Mike grew up in a large family of 11 where his brothers and sisters were not only bodybuilders and power-lifters, they all were required to study martial arts. So being competitive runs in Mike’s blood.
Mike enjoys teaching the youth of today how he’s succeeded, how he’s stayed on a good path, and continues living out his dreams, such as working with Matthew McConaughey’s Foundation, j.k. livin (just keep livin), encouraging children to make positive, healthy changes in themselves and in the world around them. Mike also works with Good Dog Animal Rescue based in Los Angeles, CA; anything Mike can do to help misplaced dogs is his passion.
Overall, Mike is a big, silly guy who always has a smile for a stranger and who loves his 4 dogs; his akita, Elvis, his husky, Stryker, his ridgeback, Bunny and his chow, Teddy. Buddy and Teddy he adopted from a Muscle & Fitness Magazine photo shoot. After shooting with them for 8 hours, the shoot coordinator said she had to take them back to the pound. Mike confidently stated, “You’re not going anywhere with these two, they’re going home with me.”
